Fort Bulnes Tours

Traditional Fort Bulnes Tour

1-IMG_3241The entire tour to visit Fort Bulnes is beautiful, from the drive to final destination. The fort is the most important historical landmark for the colonization of the Patagonia, and is beautifully reconstructed.  There are hiking trails throughout the open-aired fort, which give you views of forest, dramatic beach front, and the Southern Coastal mountains.

The tour starts by picking you up and heading south out of the city. The route runs along the Strait of Magellan, where you will have plenty of chances to glimpse sea birds and marine animals such as oystercatchers, geese, gulls, ibis, various species of ducks, cormorants, and often dolphins and sea lions. At the fort you can explore the buildings, woods, shoreline, new museum and visitors center.

Fort Bulnes PLUS

After visiting Fort Bulnes,  you will head to a great restaurant located near the fort where you will have lunch of foods traditional to the region, including amazing empanadas and seafood.  Finishing the tour with a delicious meal is our idea of the perfect tour experience. After lunch you will drive back along the Strait of Magellan to Punta Arenas.
